Confirmed Annual Sourcing Program
The Health Purchasing Victoria sourcing program is developed in collaboration with clinicians and health services to ensure we continue to meet the diverse clinical and operational needs of the health sector.
Our team consults with public hospitals and health services each year to agree what categories are 'in scope' for HPV in line with the HPV Health Purchasing Policies.
Once published by HPV, this list becomes the Confirmed Annual Sourcing Program (CASP).
Access the CASP
The CASP summary spreadsheet provides an overview of all HPV sourcing categories, including those categories currently under contract management (current contracts).
Note this spreadsheet is correct at time of publication. For the latest updates, search for your category of interest in our website to view any recent updates. You can also log in to ‘Favourite’ a category of interest to ensure you are alerted if any updates are made to that page.
Health service requirements
Hospitals and health services may only enter into a contract or renew any current contract with suppliers for goods or services listed in the CASP where there is a contractual capacity to terminate any such contract when a relevant HPV contract is entered.
HPV Agreement Transition Clause
We understand that not all health service contracts contain a clause that allows a health service to readily transition to the terms and conditions set out in an HPV agreement for the same product or service.
The HPV Agreement Transition Clause assists health services in strengthening and clarifying their contractual requirements in relation to HPV.
- The clause allows health services to transition from an existing local contract to a HPV contract when HPV establishes a common or state-wide contract.
- HPV encourages health services to include this transition clause in all contracts as it provides flexibility to transition to a HPV contract - and its associated benefits - as soon as possible.
